There's no place like home!

How can you live in Kansas and not be a character from the Wizard of Oz?!  Here's the costume for the cutest little Dorothy I ever saw!

I thought I would have to design this costume, but was thrilled to find Simplicity Pattern # 4024.    I made two changes 1) I left off the bias trim on the skirt (I mean really--IT'S A COSTUME!)  and (2  I extended the zipper up through the collar instead of using hooks--do you really want a hook and eye on a toddler dress?
