Bloggers Quilt Festival

Amy's Creative Side - Blogger's Quilt Festival

Here's my quilt for the Blogger's Quilt Festival:

You can probably tell from my blog header and my blog button that this is my favorite quilt!  I love log cabins and had fun doing one in this unexpected way.  I saw a picture of this woven pattern and knew I had to make one.  I made this quilt as a wall hanging for my sister's kitchen.  The colors match her fiesta ware dishes.  I added a little black to the border so that it wouldn't look juvenile.

  18. I love this quilt, but I'm wondering how much of a nightmare it was to plan and get sewn just right? It's beautiful and was worth all the headaches I imagine it caused. (I made a Snail's Trail once...with lots of colors...and lots of un-sewing...this reminds me of it.)
